INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY (UNPAID) - FINGERPRINT TECHNICIAN

Overview: Fingerprinting Agency Inc. is accredited by the Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services (CCRTIS) of the RCMP and partners with XL-ID Solutions for electronic fingerprint submissions for criminal record checks. We also provide name-based criminal record checks and offer traditional ink fingerprinting, including mobile services. Additionally, we assist with pardon applications, US entry waivers, and secure destruction of fingerprints and photographs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide electronic and ink-and-roll fingerprinting services.
• Handle phone inquiries and take detailed messages.
• Book appointments via Square Appointments.
• Collect and organize client documents, with necessary follow-up.
• Collect processing fees and issue receipts.
• Perform other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Patience and empathy with clients.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software.
• Previous customer service experience is a plus.
• RCMP-Certified Criminal Record Check (to be completed at the interview).
