Terms Of Employment Job type: Full time permanent position Job start date: as soon as possible Hours per week: 30 hours Wage: $36.54 per hour Vacancy: 1 Work location: 10920 178 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5S 1R7 Employment conditions: Day, Morning Benefits Group Insurance Benefits after 3 months of employment. Benefits include disability insurance, dental insurance, prescription drugs, paramedical services, extended medical services and equipment. Responsibilities And Duties Assess business needs to determine appropriate specifications for purchases Create comprehensive specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies Review and analyze supplier quotations to select the most suitable options Evaluate and negotiate offers and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing Procure general and specialized equipment, materials and business services as per business needs Ensure compliance with company policies and budget requirements Establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers for ongoing procurement needs Monitor order and delivery schedules; proactively resolve delays, shortages, or quality issues with suppliers Track and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of orders Communicate with clients and suppliers to identify and resolve issues related to procurement and delivery Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data Conduct supplier performance evaluations and develop improvement plans Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures Prepare reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance for management review Qualifications And Skills Must be able to communicate in English College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years 1 year to less than 2 years of experience Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently; work under pressure; tight deadlines; attention to detail; large caseload Personal suitability: client focus; efficient interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication; organized; team player; time management; flexibility; ability to multitask If this sounds like the perfect fit for you, please send your resume by email to hr@durabuiltwindows.com or by fax: 780-455-5775.
