You will build the bedrock of trust for our AI‑forward product by owning the entire data ingestion and transformation lifecycle. Role Mission Own end‑to‑end data pipelines and backend services that ensure accurate, fresh, and complete customer business performance data. Deliver trustworthy and prescriptive diagnostics that empower business‑critical decisions. Responsibilities Partner with business stakeholders and product designers to define needs and deliver clean, modeled datasets that support customer decision‑making. Design and implement scalable data ingestion systems that reliably connect and synchronize data from diverse external sources (CRM, billing platforms, etc.). Architect and manage a high‑performance data warehouse in BigQuery, establishing data models and transformations for downstream analytics and AI consumption. Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, integrating directly with the data warehouse to expose critical business data for our core AI product. Automate and own the DevOps lifecycle for services and pipelines using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (e.g., Terraform) to ensure system stability and rapid deployment. Create and maintain data transformation pipelines using Dataform & SQL in BigQuery to translate raw data into prescriptive insights. Qualifications Broad software and data engineering expertise, 6+ years of relevant experience. System‑thinking mindset: design holistic solutions that eliminate downstream issues. Proven, production‑level skills in SQL, data warehousing, and data modeling. Strong backend development experience building robust services. Experience with cloud infrastructure and automation (Terraform, CI/CD). Excellent communication: translate complex technical challenges into clear business impact. Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration. Even Better If Experience with data sync tools like Airbyte. Ability to thrive in a high‑documentation culture. Familiarity with Analytics/BI tools and semantic layers (Cube). Experience with GCP, BigQuery, Dataform, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, MySQL, CircleCI.
