The historic town of Sudbury is well known for its charming, historical architecture, and our shop certainly benefits from it Our store is located inside a beautiful grade II listed building. Inside, we stock plenty of pre-loved ladies’ fashion, menswear, children’s clothes, books, home accessories and more.Taking full responsibility in the Shop Managers absence, alongside your own designatedtasks our Assistant Shop Managers will;maintain continual high standards of shop presentation, back of house operations and customer service.present and maintain the highest standards of shop and window merchandising and visual layout.recruit, train, motivate, manage and support the creation and development of a loyal and engaged team of volunteers.Ensure maximum stock availability through the processing of donation received in the shopbe responsible for compliance, record keeping and cash handlingbe a brand ambassador for Woodgreen to work with the local community to raise awareness and engagement for our cause.If you have;Supervisory experience in a customer facing roleA commercial and adaptable outlook to new ideasA passion for sustainabilityA compassionate approach to developing your teamAn ambitious and enthusiastic attitudeA results driven focus to ensure the right outcome for your shop and areAdaptable in changing situations and are able to work effectively independentlyWe would love to hear from youWith a salary of £4,394per annum (equivalent to £13per hour), thisopportunityhasa working pattern of 6.5hours a week working on a Sunday. It is important to note that as Woodgreen Charity Shops are open 7 days a week there may be the opportunity, from time to time, to provide cover to support holiday or absences for your Shop Management team or area should you wish to do so.This competitive salary will be complemented by;Pro rata equivalent of 36 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) rising by 1 day each year to 40 days after five yearsUp to 8% employer pension contributionsSupport towards healthcare costs (cashplan)Free access to HeadspaceLife assurance (4x salary)25% discount in our charity shopDue to the nature of this role there will be an element of manual handling and physical activity involved. You may also be required to work alone from time to time.
