CIO Advisory Manager – RSM • Toronto, Ontario, Canada RSM is a leading provider of professional services to the mid‑market globally. Responsibilities Advise clients on digital transformation journeys, including digital strategy development, digital assessments, roadmap creation, and emerging technology adoption. Advise CIOs on optimizing IT departments and capabilities within client organizations. Lead and develop the advisory team. Act as a project manager and liaison between stakeholders and users. Perform technology and business process assessments; identify opportunities for improvement. Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and deliverable timelines. Develop and maintain procedures, project plans, and performance metrics. Provide leadership training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff. Gather critical information from stakeholder meetings and produce analytic reports. Network internally and externally to create sales opportunities. Perform user acceptance testing and facilitate user workshops. Document and communicate insights and plans to cross‑functional teams and management. Continuously learn and apply new process, digital, and IT advancements to add value to clients. Basic Qualifications 8+ years’ experience in process intelligence, digital transformation, or software management. Knowledge of ERP, CRM, CPM, and other enterprise platforms. Previous consulting experience advising on digital adoption, automation, and efficiencies. Experience implementing technologies and migrating clients to SaaS/cloud environments. Knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts across all domains. Basic understanding of IT application lifecycle, IT controls, and methods. Experience developing Target Operating Models for clients. Strong communication, critical thinking, and creative problem‑solving skills. Excellent planning, organization, and time‑management skills. Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout North America. Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and database tools (SQL/Access). Bachelor’s degree. Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, PMP, TOGAF. Experience in private equity, mergers & acquisitions, or related transactions. Exposure to one or more key industries (Industrial, Business & Professional Services, Real Estate, TMT, Consumer Products, Life Sciences). Compensation Salary Range: $98,000 – $167,000 per year. Eligible for discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance.
