About the role We're looking for a senior manager of Enterprise Architecture, audience facing products. This role will lead the architectural practice and align technology solutions with digital product strategies and overall business goals. Audience facing products are more than frontend technologies; you are helping product teams realize their missions in discovering content and staying engaged and connected to our digital products. You’ll be at the heart of innovation—working hand‑in‑hand with product leaders, engineering managers and technical leaders. Your mission: guide and inspire teams to implement smart, scalable, and future‑ready solutions—anchored in strong architectural principles and best practices. Responsibilities Partner with product managers, directors, technical leadership, designers, and other stakeholders to explore architectural and technology needs and use architectural solutions to help define reasonable scope. Handle and drive key technical decisions, working across development teams, technical leaders, and business stakeholders within and across departments, and lead and facilitate collaborative analysis, solutioning, review, and technical decisions. Contribute to product planning and roadmap by bringing the technology perspective to the process and championing critical, valuable work. Observe technical leadership gaps, grow domain expertise, and bring industry trends to the department. Lead the design of enterprise‑wide software architecture that balances functional integrity, scalability, resilience, stability, security, operational excellence, time to market, business needs, and long‑term growth. Educate and advise teams on industry best practices, technology investments, and technology lifecycles. Build and grow the architecture practice, improving discovery processes and clarifying deliverables, dependencies, and skill development. Establish and maintain architectural standards, including data governance, security, and regulatory compliance. Manage architects and foster a high‑performance culture. Qualifications Three or more years of experience in a technical management position with a progressive career from developer to architect; managing a team of at least two employees. Technical leadership across data integration, authentication, frontend, and cross‑platform technologies. Experience maturing practices and navigating evolving priorities with clear output. Knowledge of engineering practices such as test strategy, CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, observability, and automation platforms. Track record leading projects and programs, allocating resources, and solving problems under ambiguity. Strong communication skills and a problem‑solving mindset. Degree (or higher) in engineering, computer science, or related discipline from a recognized university. Exposure to AI/ML/LLM and an understanding of governance requirements. Nice to Have Master’s degree in engineering or related discipline. Experience in the media industry.
