Role and Responsibilities We are currently seeking two applicants to fill the role of Relationship Advisor II at our Nipawin service location. One position is permanent, and one position is temporary, providing coverage for 12 months. Reporting to the Regional Manager, Retail Banking Services, this role is ideal for someone passionate about relationship building, small business support, and member service. Strengthen our presence in the community by promoting our strategic vision and building meaningful relationships with members, employees, and community stakeholders. Drive Sales and Service Excellence: Achieve growth targets by deepening relationships with new and existing members, identifying opportunities to expand portfolios, and applying ethical sales practices. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver tailored banking solutions across consumer, commercial, and small business segments. Champion Member Relationships: Manage and grow a diverse portfolio by proactively identifying member needs and providing comprehensive financial advice. Leverage member insights to deliver personalized service, increase retention, and drive long‑term value. Promote Community Engagement: Actively represent Prosperity Credit Union in regional events and local networking opportunities. Build our reputation as a trusted partner while identifying new opportunities to support community development and business acquisition. Foster a Collaborative Culture: Work closely with the Manager of Regional Relationships and cross‑functional teams to strengthen our sales and service culture. Promote shared goals and foster an environment of continuous learning and growth. Manage Risk with Integrity: Ensure all credit and deposit activities align with sound risk management principles. Uphold compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain accurate documentation, and safeguard member information through a strong understanding of operational policies and ethical standards. Support Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed of applicable legislation and compliance standards. Take action to ensure full adherence to policies including anti‑money laundering regulations, privacy laws, and market code requirements. Qualifications A post‑secondary degree in Agriculture or Business or relevant experience will be a valuable asset; A minimum of 4-6 years of job‑related experience, preference given to candidates with previous lending experience and a demonstrated track record for success in the implementation and achievement of sales goals; Passion for co‑operative values and for involvement with the local community; Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build strong and respectful relationships with all parties including staff, peers, community, as well as current and potential business partners; Strong decision making and organizational leadership skills with the ability to plan and manage resources; Ability to make challenging decisions respectfully and effectively; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to act as an effective spokesperson and ambassador for the Credit Union.
