And we are One Driving Force.Plasman is currently seeking a new member to join our Production Team as a:Set-Up TechnicianThis position offers a compensation range of $27.96/hr. – $30.16/hr., dependent on skills and experience.This posting is for an existing, currently vacant position within Plasman.The Set-Up Technician or designate will set-up molds and maintain related equipment of all jobs to maintain daily production requirements at Plasman, Windsor 1 Manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesMold set-up as per procedure outlinedMaintain mold storage areaOperate overhead cranes in a safe mannerSet-up end of arm tooling on robotsEnsure proper set-up as set out by the Production Supervisor/Lead Process Technician/Process TechnicianAssist any other personnel when available and when requiredEnsure equipment is in good mechanical condition to provide safe operationComply with established rules, procedures and health and safety mandatesEnsure that a clean and safe work environment is always maintainedComplete any other duties as assignedQualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking ForMust possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed some or all of a College level programMust have a minimum of 3 years working with molding presses and have an excellent working knowledge of molds (preference given to those who have previous set-up experience)Ability to perform well in high pressure situationsAbility to work well in unsupervised atmosphereAccess to reliable transportationPlasman uses artificial intelligence–supported tools as part of our recruitment and screening processes; all hiring decisions include human review and oversight.Plasman values and supports the unique talents and strengths that each employee brings to our organization.
