Medical Supply Clerk Employer: Vancouver Coastal Health Location: Central Community Health Centre, North Vancouver, BC Salary: CAD 25.54/hr – CAD 27.22/hr Employment type: Full-time Job Overview Vancouver Coastal Health is hiring a Medical Supply Clerk to support Home Care health programs by maintaining inventories of medical supplies and resources, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, assembling education packages for clients, and performing related administrative support functions. Responsibilities Maintain inventories of medical supplies and resources. Clean and disinfect rehabilitation and other program equipment. Assemble and prepare education packages for clients. Perform other related administrative support functions as required. Qualifications Grade 12 plus two years of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to type 5,000 keystrokes per hour. Ability to operate related equipment. Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to organize workload. Knowledge of nursing equipment. Knowledge of sterilization techniques and procedures. Strong verbal and written communication. Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
