We’re seeking a talented and experienced Healthcare Architect to join our growing team in Halifax, NS. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed architect passionate about creating patient-centered environments that meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and sustainability. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative healthcare facilities that improve lives and communities. What a day at EXP has in store for you Design and plan healthcare facilities including hospitals, clinics, and medical offices in compliance with healthcare codes and standards. Collaborate with medical professionals, engineers, and stakeholders to create efficient, patient-focused spaces. Manage projects from concept through construction and post-occupancy evaluation. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit. Coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure quality and timely delivery. Stay current with healthcare regulations, sustainability practices, and design trends. What Your Experience Looks Like Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Licensed Architect with 5+ years of experience in healthcare facility design. Strong knowledge of healthcare building codes and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. Bilingual (English/French) preferred. This job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization. The salary range for this role is between $115K - $140K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
