Production Chemist

Role Overview The Production Chemist is responsible for ensuring consistent product quality, troubleshooting chemical processes, identifying and solving problems in production. Key Responsibilities Oversee chemical production in compliance with SOPs, safety, and environmental regulations. Analyze raw materials, in‑process samples, and final products to ensure quality. Participate in continuous improvement and resolve production issues. Train technicians and ensure proper calibration of laboratory instruments. Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 17025/17034) and health & safety regulations. Qualifications & Skills Mandatory Chemistry Degree (Bachelor’s in Chemistry or equivalent). Strong knowledge of Organic Chemistry, including reaction mechanisms. 3 to 5 years of experience in chemical production at a manufacturing site. Experience in chemical production and manufacturing processes. Strong understanding of ICP standards, aqueous and organic standard preparation. Knowledge of ISO 17025/17034 compliance and quality assurance processes. Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions. Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
