The role may include: the provision of basic care (comforts), specimen collection and other support functions under the guidance and direction of licensed health care professionals.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Grade 12Any previous related experience or related education would be an assetKnowledge of infection control procedures an assetCurrent BCLSNon-violent Crisis Intervention preferredRelevant first aid, first responder training i.e. St. John Ambulance course, HS lifeguard certificate, an assetExcellent interpersonal skills to deal with patients/clients, hospital staff, public and referral sourcesCompetencies in other languages an asset, French preferredPlease ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.HoursLong Assignment, Full-time position; 75 hours bi-weeklyThis position is approximately 9 months in lengthCompensation and Benefits$20.74 - $22.10 HourlySuccessful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.Once You've AppliedThank you for your interest in this position.
