Location: 1081 Carling Ave., Ottawa, ON, K1Y 4G2 Schedule: Part Time – 24 hours/week• Tuesday: 08:00 – 16:00• Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00• Friday: 08:00 – 16:00 Mandatory requirement: Registration with College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. We have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of our patients and employees with PPE provided, the spacing of patients, screening, and more. Extensive safety protocols and procedures have been put into place and are mandatory. In this role you will: Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist. Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs. Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing. Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis. Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals. Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients. Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge. Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart. Qualifications: Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program. 2+ years of experience considered an asset.
