Be part of it by applying for a position with us today.**Launch Your Career with Medavie****Summary**As a **Group Underwriting Best Practice Analys**t, you will support the development, optimization, and adherence to underwriting tools, documentation, and processes.You will ensure efficiency, accuracy, and innovation within underwriting operations by leveraging technical skills, collaboration, and business acumen. Key outcomes include enhancing data analysis, improving process efficiency, and supporting team-wide strategic initiatives.**What you will do*** Support and enhance underwriting tools* Maintain and update documentation to ensure compliance with business requirements* Analyze data using Excel, Power BI, VBA, PL/SQL, and Power automate* Coordinate business requests and follow through to resolution* Collaborate with IT, Finance, Actuarial, and other internal teams to align underwriting practices with business goals**What You Bring*** Post-secondary diploma or degree with a focus in Business Administration, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or related field.* 1-3 years in group underwriting, insurance, or data analysis (internships or relevant academic experience are considered)* Experienced candidates will be considered for a senior role* Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn advanced tools like Power BI.* Bilingualism (French and English) is required to meet business needs* The Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation would be an asset**To be successful*** Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Strong problem-solving abilities and great attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment.* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently to meet deadlines.* Strong analytical thinking and solid technical skills.* Motivation, determination, team spirit, and autonomy.This posting is for an existing vacancy within our organization / Ce poste est actuellement vacant au sein de notre organisation.**Pay Grade:**53,235 - 59,890 CADThe Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training.
