Senior Java Software Engineer, TD Securities Join the TD Securities team as a Senior Java Software Engineer (Engineer II). This role focuses on strategic Repo trading initiatives and involves developing and maintaining Java‑based components for the ION ANVIL trading platform. Location: Toronto, Ontario, CanadaHours: 37.5 hrs/weekLine of Business: Technology SolutionsSalary: $126,800 - $164,100 CAD per year (variable compensation eligible). Responsibilities Collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, project teams, and third‑party vendors to solve complex data and system integration problems. Conduct technical and business analysis to determine and document business requirements. Create functional testing scripts and automated processes. Maintain and enhance the functionality of TD custom Java components used for integrating with the ION Platform and internal systems. Own complex technical testing and upgrades to keep applications up to date. Perform release and change management responsibilities, including use of automated deployment tools. Provide technical expertise to support teams for resolving escalated incidents. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in the Capital Markets domain with an understanding of its complexities. Proficiency in the Java technology stack. Working knowledge of Linux and commonly used tools and processes. Experience with Oracle and Oracle SQL Developer. Working knowledge of the ION Platform and ION MKV API. Understanding of the Repo trade lifecycle and industry standard platforms for D2C and D2D trading.
