We are looking for an SAP Analyst for a 12-month contract position, with possible extensions in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Hybrid schedule, at least 4 days in the office. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. It is NOT a remote role.
Role Description
As an SAP Analyst, you will play a critical role in the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA within a source-to-pay (STP) workstream. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful conversion of material master data from source systems to SAP S/4 HANA. By doing so, you will enable seamless processes in SAP S/4 HANA and its connected applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design an efficient and automated conversion process.
- Focus on extraction, transformation, load, and validation techniques.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Drive and coordinate data readiness activities.
- Develop and execute a plan for data profiling, deduplication, cleansing, and enrichment.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor progress.
- Participate in data conversion design workshops.
- Engage in mock and cutover activities to validate the conversion process.
- Develop comprehensive conversion documentation.
- Ensure compliance with SOX/audit control expectations.
- Establish data domain standards and standard operating procedures for material master data.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners both within and outside the direct scope of the program.
Required Skills and Experience :
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of S/4 HANA source-to-pay processes , with a focus on materials management and materials requirement planning (MRP).
- Knowledge of integrations between S/4 HANA material masters and ATR (acquire-to-retire) processes.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Oil & Gas/Energy Industry Experience
- Understanding of Quality Management in S/4 HANA
- Familiarity with extended Warehouse Management (eWM) in S/4 HANA
- Experience in master data governance
- Proficiency with Syniti ADMM
- Experience with Maximo
