Overview Join London Drugs as a Store Systems and Administration Associate in our Polo Park location (1485 Portage Avenue). You will support the administrative functions of store operations, cash room, and the integrity of store-level pricing, reporting directly to the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager. Responsibilities Store Systems Maintain store hardware systems, including point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, operational software programs, and communication networks. Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment (e.g., cleaning MSR hardware). Perform regular system backups as per the established procedures and schedule. Act as the primary store contact with the Information Technology department, including problem reporting, resolution, and systems and software deployment. Maintain Problem Incident Report logs. Print in/store signage and place in store. Maintain pricing throughout the entire store. Store Operations Maintain the store funds, including cash, stamps, LD gift cards, coupons, and other assets. Count store funds and prepare bank deposits. Administer all POS charity fundraising programs (e.g., hospital lotteries). Administer the POS system administrative functions (e.g., manager override numbers). Administer Transit Passes and Lottery Tickets programs where applicable. Administer other programs as assigned by the store manager or head office (e.g., employee uniforms, lockers, bulletin boards, store supplies). Customer Service Support the company mission statement, “To Provide a Superior Shopping Experience Every Day.” Provide prompt and efficient customer service based on the 10/10 Sales Challenge philosophy. Qualifications Strong administrative skills with technical and mathematical aptitude. Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality regarding company revenues, pricing information, and over/short information. Effective communication, training, and coordination skills within the Store Systems and Administration team. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure with little supervision. Positive attitude, solution‑oriented mindset, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Schedule Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday to Sunday, and start their shift as early as 5 am everyday.
