Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Our client, a scaling technology company, is looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team. As their new Senior HRBP you will leverage your strategic and operational HR experience to drive talent strategies aligned with company objectives. You will leverage your experience to advise leaders and drive success in performance optimization, employee relations, engagement, talent development, and more.
In this role, you will:
- Consult with senior leaders, providing advice to overcoming barriers and influencing actions to support high-performance teams.
- Partner to build and execute a talent strategy that enables and contributes to attaining business goals.
- Guide a team of senior people leaders in executing talent management practices, such as organizational design, performance management, change management, retention and engagement, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with peers and navigate complex employee relation matters promptly and sensitively, supporting people, leaders and employees through resolution.
- Foster a positive workplace culture anchored in strong values and a high-touch employee experience.
You have:
- Experience advising and supporting functional leaders and bridging people programs and business needs within a scaling organization. An in-depth understanding of employment standards and applicable employment legislation across Canada, including Quebec.
- A deep understanding of designing and implementing best practices in a complex and fast-paced environment, including performance management, total rewards, employee relations and investigations, management coaching, culture and values.
- Strategic thought leadership to execute your ideas and champion plans while remaining open and flexible to feedback. You are a critical thinker driven by curiosity who can identify root causes and determine business solutions.
- The consulting approach to working alongside your internal clients and empowering them with the tools, strategies, resources, and project plans to meet business goals. You can navigate conflict, manage stressful situations, mediate, and facilitate discussions at the senior leadership level. You can work across teams and with any stakeholder level.
- The project management experience. You can identify gaps or problems and propose and execute solutions, ensuring adoption and engagement. You can take the initiative and see it through from project plan to rollout, meeting deliverables, budget and timing, seamlessly adapting to changes in priorities, and shifting your focus when necessary.
- Exceptional communication skills. You genuinely appreciate and actively promote diverse experiences and backgrounds. You have a proven ability to influence and drive change, and you are interested in understanding others, hearing their perspectives, and addressing their concerns.
- The technical skills. You are data-driven and able to draw deep insights from your analysis. You are highly proficient in Google Suite and have exposure working with an HRIS.
