Securitas Technology Ireland - Commissioning Engineer

Securitas Technology Ireland is currently recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer. This position will involve travel within Ireland and EMEA.

Role Purpose:

The role of the Commissioning Engineer is to support project managers in controlling, delivering, and commissioning high-end security systems to the highest industry standards. Responsibilities include ensuring timely installation, meeting required standards, and complying with client specifications and expectations while adhering to relevant standards.

Specific Knowledge:
  1. 5+ years of experience in high-end security integration
  2. Experience with CCTV, Intruder, access control
  3. Experience with enterprise systems such as Lenel On Guard, C-cure 9000 ACT enterprise desirable
  4. Excellent understanding of Security System design & configuration
  5. Sound knowledge of IP technology and networks
  6. Awareness of H&S regulations
  7. PC literate in MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook)
  8. Experience in Data Centre environment
  9. Knowledge of national standards
Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluate contractual commissioning statistics and instruction guidelines
  2. Review technical specifications of systems
  3. Manage commissioning activities and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  4. Guide testing processes and ensure standard results
  5. Assist in identifying and addressing commissioning issues
  6. Prepare and maintain commission records
  7. Review progress of installations and escalate issues
  8. Provide on-site support for technical issues
  9. Ensure completion of works and issuance of handover documents
  10. QA/QC subcontractor installation works
