Our head office houses Tolko’s corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:Program and project management experience and technical management or engineering experience.Understanding of the technical and financial practices at corporate and business unit levels.A technical designation and/or equivalent post-secondary degree.Excellent understanding of the SR&ED program and the processes and tools available.Detail-oriented with an aptitude for communication and writing technical reports.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a self-starting “get it done” attitude.Previous experience in a forest products environment considered an asset.We value diversity at Tolko and know that experience and knowledge comes in many forms. We would love to hear your story and have you grow with us.In this role, you will:Maintain and improve the Tolko SR&ED Program.Manage the processes for identification, approval, documentation, and monitoring of potential SR&ED projects.Provide guidance and recommendations on optimizing SR&ED eligibility and tax credits.Act as Tolko’s representative at external meetings, conferences, and seminars with CRA.Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement team to identify synergies and opportunities for SR&ED claims.Act as a liaison between FP Innovations staff and Tolko staff, and manage external SR&ED consultants.Work with SR&ED Champions and Team Leaders to identify projects, provide training, and review documentation.Provide monthly and quarterly progress reports.Maintain and promote the use of the Tolko Projects Database.Undertake site visits to review project eligibility and documentation.Assist with technical write-ups for tax filings.Explore and lead the application processes for external grants and funding.So, what’s in it for you?You’ll take on anexciting new challengewithsupportive team members.You’ll earn a competitive salary based on your skills and experience.
