If you’re nodding your head as you read these questions, then you might be the perfect candidate for this role

We are looking for a key front-end engineer role on one of our largest product lines. You will have the opportunity to heavily affect a new customer-facing set of interfaces, driving adoption and best practice in an area that is completely open for you to make a huge impact. You’ll also work with our existing designers across other product lines to ensure standards, best practices, and testing is uniform across Carbon6. In short, you’ll have a major role on our success, short- and long-term

  • You Obsessively Focus on Meeting User AND Business Needs: Develop a deep and specific understanding of our users and business by working closely with your product manager and engineering teammates to determine the right approach to build solutions that meet our incredibly fast-paced and dynamic growth environment.

  • You Communicate with Everyone: You love to move fast, even knowing that things change often. You love to effectively communicate front end strategies, designs, and architectures with team and engineering leaders and peers to get alignment and buy-in.
Your Qualifications
  • Demonstrable Front End Development Experience: You have at least 3 years of professional front end development experience working in React, preferably in a SaaS or e-commerce environment. You have worked on a variety of software solutions that are in production today.
  • Strong Technical Background: You have proven experience and expertise in the React framework, including the ability to speak at length about best practices in organization, development, and deployment of React components and front-ends, both functional and using additional frameworks.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: We move fast and good communication skills are essential. When designing technical designs you need to be able to communicate effectively with your colleagues in engineering, product management, and senior management.
  • Adaptability and Resourcefulness: You love and thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a scrappy and curious attitude to achieve results effectively. You are comfortable with the discomfort of uncertainty and change that is common in a fast-growing organization.
  • Continuous Learning: You’re constantly learning, actively seeking and embracing feedback from both internal and external stakeholders. You are dedicated to personal and professional growth, constantly striving to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's continuous improvement.
