Let’s grow together Department: AccountingLocation: On site, Laval, QC (4204 Boulevard Industriel, H7L 0E3)Type of employment: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours) THE ROLE Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor within the Shared Accounting Services team, the Accounts Payable Technician supports Business Units in processing invoices and issuing payments. Responsibilities Receipt and distribution of electronic invoices Verification and transfer of invoices to the invoice review, approval, and processing systems Assign invoices to correct approvers Validate invoice approvals to ensure compliance with procedures and controls Issue payment lists Create accounting entries Respond to requests from internal personnel and external suppliers Verify supplier statements Perform any other related tasks as required What You’ll Need Education: AEC, DEP, or DEC in Accounting Experience: 1 year of relevant accounting experience Knowledge and Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Capable of meeting tight deadlines while maintaining speed of execution Discretion and confidence in handling confidential files Strong customer‑service focus Ability to work independently or as part of a team Intermediate MS Excel skills an asset Language skills: Advanced bilingualism in French and English (both spoken and written) Benefits package Group Insurance Program with optional health, dental, life, disability, and health‑spending account coverage Pension Plan for a secure financial future Share Purchase Plan allowing employees to become shareholders Paid Time Off including vacation, sick, and personal days Additional Perks Employee Discounts on products and services Training and Development opportunities—workshops, seminars, and online courses Recognition and Rewards programs celebrating milestones and achievements Mentorship Program providing guidance and support Scholarship Program supporting continued education for employees and their children Interested?
