Technical Specialist – Training Location: Greater Sudbury, ON (Lively) At Sandvik Mining, we offer you a world of opportunities. The Technical Specialist – Training provides advanced technical expertise while leading training, coaching, and knowledge transfer across the organization. This role translates complex technical issues into structured training, technical guidance and best practices, working closely with Learning & Competency, HR, and cross‑functional teams to strengthen front‑line capability and reduce repeat issues. What You Will Be Doing Acts as a Technical Specialist and subject matter expert, providing advanced technical guidance and leading training sessions Designs and delivers technical training programs, including new product and system updates Provides coaching and mentoring to technicians, front line support teams, and customers Supports first‑line escalations with a focus on knowledge transfer and issue prevention Serves as a link between factory, Product Masters, and Sales Areas to ensure consistent technical knowledge Captures field feedback and incorporates insights into training materials and technical documentation Strengthens front‑line technical capability, reducing repeat issues and improving safety outcomes Coordinates closely with Learning & Competency, HR, and cross‑functional departments to align technical training, capability development, and workforce needs Environmental Health and Safety We are ethical and compliant, dedicated to health, safety, and sustainability.
