With a private entrance, a 6-metre high ceiling, dramatic chandeliers, a balcony and sweeping marble staircase leading to the Bankside Ballroom, this is a spectacular venue for any grand celebration, fashion show, awards ceremony or corporate event.Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that routine maintenance is performed, in order for the hotel to be operated with maximum efficiency to achieve guest satisfaction and safety. You will also:Perform all routine preventative and curative maintenanceOperate, maintain and repair a variety of different equipment within the hotelWork in a safe mannerKeep an adequate level of supplies required for hotel maintenanceMaintain a high standard of workmanship in all tasks carried outLiaise with CE and ACE daily carrying out stator test and inspections and monitor daily usageRespond to all guest requests as they arise and report back for guest follow‑up and engagementWork with outside contractors as necessary to assist them in performing maintenance or construction jobsWhat Happens NextDoes the Day Engineer role suit your skillset?
