If so, this role is for youAECOM is seeking a Procurement Specialist to work closely with and directly support the Procurement Manager in a full-time, hybrid position. You’ll be a key driver in keeping procurement activities running smoothly, suppliers aligned, and projects on track. You’ll work closely with a supportive Procurement Manager and learn the full procurement lifecycle. ResponsibilitiesAct as the go-to support for the Procurement Manager across current and future projectsSupport the Procurement Manager in developing and maintaining procurement strategies plans and client deliverablesActively build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and project teams to drive collaboration and successful outcomesBring brilliant, creative ideas to share with clients and enhance project outcomesAssist with procurement planning, scheduling, and tracking of materials and servicesSupport contract and purchase order administration from award through deliveryCoordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Client team to keep everyone alignedHelp resolve supplier issues and keep communication flowingMaintain procurement logs, reports, and dashboard QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline: engineering, finance, business, etc.6+ years experience of procurement related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in procurement in aproject-based environments on large infrastructure capital project deliveryDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and juggling priorities in a fast-paced environment.A proactive, detail-oriented team player who enjoys supporting othersStrong organizational and communication skillsSomeone who takes initiative and loves a “let’s get it done” mindsetUnderstand, review, and negotiate contract terms and conditions is an asset Additional InformationSponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.
