Team Lead Pharmacist

Why this role is important As a key member of the MediSystem Site Operations Supervisory Team, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and play a critical role in achieving established quality and productivity goals. Responsibilities Work efficiently and collaboratively with direct staff and internal and external clients. Provide sustained performance and engagement through effective leadership, integrity, communication and involvement. Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Assess employee performance and recommend promotions within areas of expertise. Establish and coordinate monthly and weekly production schedules and daily assignments of staff. Manage staff hiring, employee engagement, health and safety, and progressive discipline. Identify, investigate, correct and document potential regulatory and safety problems. Interact with customers as needed to address issues. Troubleshoot situations, determine resolution quickly to minimize disruption. Coordinate, manage, and complete all administrative responsibilities, including timesheets, vacation coverage, incident and corrective action reports, and review processes. Understand, meet and embrace operational budgets, communicating fiscal responsibility and operational excellence. Review and reconcile reports daily, weekly, and monthly; conduct information meetings for employees and/or customers. Participate in special projects to assist development goals and improve production processes, simplifying procedures or reducing costs. Build and lead diverse teams fostering inclusiveness and belonging. Qualifications 3+ years proven hands‑on experience as a supervisor or team lead in a high‑volume environment. Bachelor of Pharmacy. Currently licensed with the Ontario College of Pharmacists and in good standing. Change implementation skills – ability to develop shared purpose and motivate others to embrace change. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Proven experience building highly effective teams and encouraging a rewarding culture. Excellent communication, coaching, and customer service skills. Knowledge of all policies, procedures and duties related to customer service. Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving skills. Ability to relate well to people with diverse personalities and styles, managing relationships tactfully. Strong communication clarity and effectiveness. Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint); KROLL skills preferred.
