Miracle Theatre is looking for an Executive Director to be the administrative heart of our team — providing operational stability and managing our projects, resources, and people. This senior management role will help steer Miracle as a dynamic, sustainable and inclusive organisation as it moves into the future. Find out more & apply here: www.miracletheatre.co.uk To receive our recruitment pack contact: [email protected] Join us and be part of something extraordinary Job Requirements We’re seeking someone with strong knowledge of the UK arts landscape, policy, and funding, able to guide Miracle’s strategy and act as an advocate for the company. You’ll have a proven record of securing statutory, trust, foundation, and donor income, alongside commercial awareness and a dynamic approach to generating new earned and partnership-based income. Essential skills include arts/theatre management, fundraising, financial literacy, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. You’ll be highly organised, an excellent communicator, confident, entrepreneurial, and able to manage multiple priorities in a small organisation. You’ll work well with trustees, funders, partners, and local authorities, and be committed to equality, diversity, inclusion, sustainability, and community‑level arts delivery. Experience with charity governance, NPO requirements, hybrid income models, and collaborative team leadership is key. Job Responsibilities Develop and deliver a business model and strategy with the CEO and Co‑Artistic Director, including diversified income and leading on Arts Council and Cornwall Council applications. Strengthen Miracle’s role in the cultural sector by building regional and national partnerships and representing the company at key events. Foster a positive, inclusive and innovative culture. Drive income growth through new earned strands, commercial partnerships, and grant funding from trusts, foundations and statutory bodies, overseeing contracts, reporting and funder relationships. Lead fundraising campaigns, sponsorship and donor development. Manage day‑to‑day operations, ensuring clear communication, good working practices, statutory compliance and strong financial planning with the Management Team.
