Information Systems Officer, User Service (T & I) (Telework/Hybrid)Join to apply for the Information Systems Officer, User Service (T & I) (Telework/Hybrid) role at CBC/Radio-CanadaResponsibilitiesConduct first-level support responding to requests for assistance with software, hardware, multimedia, and network.Configure employee hardware, set up new and update existing computers for all employees.Communicate with internal clients, translating technical into understandable instructions, proposing solutions, escalated to second-level support as needed.Analyze issues related to computer peripherals and software to ensure availability, supporting users across departments.Immediately respond to IT and office automation problems during transition to new building and systems.QualificationsMinimum of two years providing onsite and telephone IT support, clear understanding of ITIL support processes.Degree related to computer science or relevant training and experience.Ability to install and configure operating systems, anti-virus and other software in Microsoft environment; troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in digital production environment and for IP and mobile phones.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in French; English language skills as well.Patience and empathy fostering relationships with internal customers, peers, senior managers; translate technical requirements to nontechnical business needs.Intermediate level in reading, writing, speaking in French and English; B intermediate for both languages.Willingness to be part of rotating shift, early mornings, late nights, up to two weekends a month.Fluent in both French and English; bilingualism; B intermediate skill level.CBC/Radio-Canada is committed to being a leader in reflecting our country’s diversity.
