Responsibilities Responsible for drafting and 3D modelling electrical systems for mining and industrial projects Develop models, design and drafting using advanced modeling and assembly practices within a 3D and 2D Electrical environment Ability to work as part of a team, applying skills to both new construction and renovation projects for drafting of power distribution, lighting and communication systems Provide CAD drafting services to design team Work under the direction of Electrical Engineers to develop working drawings from conceptual layout to detailed construction document packages for submission Ability to create electrical design of single line diagrams, motor schematics and wiring, General Arrangement, distribution panels, grounding, lighting, and cable tray Ability to create and maintain cable schedules and material take offs Apply, maintain and enforce CAD standards Ensure proper documentation of all work, products, and relevant activities Provide on-site construction supports as required Qualifications Diploma in Electrical Engineering Design and Drafting Technology from a recognized college 10 years’ experience of drafting electrical, controls and instrumentation deliverables in an engineering environment Experience working within an EPCM environment is preferred Experience with SmartPlant is preferred Able to work within defined schedules and deadlines Able to function well, either as part of a team or independently Strong communication, analytical and time management skills Well-developed written and oral communication skills Why Ausenco?
