As the only AAHA-accredited hospital in the Okanagan, we’re proud to uphold the highest standards of veterinary care for our patients, clients, and staff.What You’ll NeedPrevious veterinary or animal care experience is an assetExceptional client service skills that build trust and lasting relationshipsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesCompassion and a gentle approach when working with pets and peopleAbility to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environmentAbility to remain calm and professional under pressureA positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skillsInitiative and reliability when completing tasks independentlyYour RoleAssisting veterinarians and technicians with patient care, using low-stress handling techniquesSupporting the client care team and occasionally helping at reception as neededPreparing medications and supplies for clients (under DVM or RVT direction)Providing attentive care to hospitalized patients, including feeding, walking, and comfortHandling, cleaning, and sterilizing surgical equipmentHelping keep the hospital running smoothly with general cleaning, restocking, and maintenance dutiesCompensationStarting at $18.00/hour, with increases based on experience.Why You’ll Love Working With UsAt Rose Valley Veterinary Hospital, you’ll be part of a caring, respectful team that values collaboration, growth, and well-being.
