Responsibilities The Vice President of Banking Operations will contribute to the successful banking operations and participate in the development of Vision Credit Union Ltd. priorities and objectives. This position will manage Banking Operations, provide support, drive new product development and training, and diffuse difficult member concerns, identify critical situations, and ensure the best solutions for Vision Credit Union Ltd. and its members. Qualifications Advanced knowledge of credit union operations required, 5 years’ experience in a financial institution. 10 years’ progressively responsible experience with at least 3 years in management. Advanced comprehension of credit union practices and risk reporting fundamentals. Expert knowledge of risk management and regulatory practices, methodologies and compliance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent management, negotiating and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to lead a team and achieve results. Able to read and interpret legislation, regulations and other legal documents. Proven experience with driving improvements in regulatory compliance. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training and associated documentation. Able to prioritize and manage conflicting demands. Compensation Comprehensive benefits package.
