We operate from 26 offices in 15 countries with projects in over 80 locations worldwide, creating sustainable outcomes for our people, clients and communities.An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Study Manager to join our Minerals and Metals division at our Toronto or Burlington Office (hybrid).The successful candidate will have a firm client focus, the ability to relate to clients and respond to their requirements, and the capacity to balance divergent and convergent thinking—combining innovative approaches with meeting scope, budget, and schedule.Study Managers support our business development efforts by creating and building a regional presence while leveraging our extensive global process engineering experience and expertise.About YouRelevant experience in the mining industryExperience on a client/owner’s team or as a study manager, project manager, project engineer, engineering manager or lead engineer on several projects/studiesExperience in engineering or project management in engineering consultingExcellent written, technical, and oral communications skillsHigh level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPointDemonstrated leadership and management skillsWillingness to travel when requiredResponsibilitiesLead mining project studies (from scoping to FR or FS level) while ensuring safety, quality, timeliness, and fit for purposeCollaborate with engineering teams and subject matter experts in Toronto and global offices to produce high-quality technical deliverablesUnderstand client needs and goals and ensure the project team is aligned with those expectationsLead regular reviews and audits of study timelines, budgets and resources to identify issues and resolve themAssist establishing project strategy and monitor critical path schedules and deliverables; develop and maintain collaborative relationships with management, clients, team members and other stakeholdersEnsure study and project risks are addressed and communicated to clients and Ausenco leadershipManage the development of project capex models and financial models to support client projectsComply with Ausenco minerals corporate policies and procedures, including Quality Assurance and Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policiesLead the delivery of regulatory documentation such as NI 43-101 technical reportsContribute to the ongoing development of the Studies Team to deliver best-practice solutionsWhy Ausenco?We support individual growth and aim to allow you to work in a way that plays to your strengths.
