OverviewCybersecurity Consultant(s) HiringLocation: Regina, Saskatchewan (100% Onsite)Start Date: March 23, 2026Contract Length: 1 year to start with+ 2 optional extension yearsCompensation: $75/hr – $100/hr (depending on skills and experience)Submission Deadline: Thursday, February 5th, 2026Opportunity OverviewStafingo is hiring for one or more senior Cybersecurity Consultants to support a large-scale Cybersecurity Maturity Program (CMP) within a provincial public-sector environment.This role is ideal for a seasoned cybersecurity leader with deep expertise in security architecture, risk management, and strategic planning, who thrives in complex, regulated environments and can bridge technical execution with executive-level strategy.The successful consultant(s) will play a critical role in advancing enterprise cybersecurity posture, maturity, and resilience across a distributed government IT landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret, enforce, and provide guidance on information security policies, standards, and controlsLead and contribute to cybersecurity strategic planning and risk management initiativesPerform Threat Risk Assessments (TRAs) for enterprise IT initiativesProvide security architecture oversight for IT solutions, services, and procurementsRespond to and support information security incidentsDeliver security awareness and education across business unitsEvaluate emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and risk trendsCollaborate with cross-functional technical and executive stakeholdersContribute to multi-year cybersecurity roadmaps and maturity frameworksSupport the development and alignment of a centralized cybersecurity visionMandatory RequirementsDemonstrated experience in cybersecurity strategic planning and risk managementDemonstrated experience in solutions architecture, cybersecurity architecture, and/or IT designAbility to work 100% onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan starting March 23, 2026Highly Desired Experience & AssetsExperience working within government, public sector, or highly regulated enterprise environmentsProven leadership as a security or solutions architect on complex, distributed systemsStrong knowledge of industry security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27002:2022, or equivalent)Experience designing and implementing enterprise cybersecurity architecturesAbility to translate technical risk into executive-level insights and recommendationsExperience developing cybersecurity vision papers, roadmaps, or maturity modelsExposure to DevSecOps, automation, and secure CI/CD practicesExperience with Zero Trust architecture strategy and implementationFormal training in IT design methodologiesArchitecture certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent (asset)Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience (asset)Formal coursework or certification in Project Management (asset)InterestedIf interested, please apply to the job posting directly or send your resume to harpreet@stafingo.com for immediate consideration. #J-18808-Ljbffr
