Join to apply for the Sales Associate role at Staples Canada Job Description Deliver exceptional customer service and enhance customer engagement and satisfaction. Drive sales in furniture, technology, and supplies. Set and achieve sales and margin goals with store leaders. Ensure operational excellence and uphold store brand standards. Support merchandising and signage standards, including planograms and stocking. Maintain Health & Safety, Asset Protection, and Privacy Policies. Engage with and sell to all customers, offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques available in our selling model. Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers. Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor. Maintain a clean and safe store environment by dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional. Qualifications 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience (preferred). Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
