The Senior Manager leads staff members and collaborates with stakeholders and clients to analyze learning needs, recommend learning solutions, implement the appropriate delivery systems and evaluate and measure for learning effectiveness. They assist in organizing, leading and managing the effective execution of multiple projects, including complex strategic projects, with on-time and on-budget delivery. The Senior Manager develops and maintains ongoing relationships with clients, project team members and external vendors.What You Will DoProactively consult with business units to achieve organizational objectives.Consult and collaborate with client Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to analyze and define learning objectives and learning requirements.Collaborate with client teams to deliver high quality learning in a variety of formats (eLearning, classroom training, self-study).Meet course development milestones and ensure delivery of quality learning solutions that meet established objectives.As project leader, engage the client in performance conversations using performance map and interview methodology.Oversee all planning activities including scope and budget planning, work activity definition, sequencing and duration estimating, schedule development, resource planning, risk identification, cost estimating and project plan development.Manage the effective execution of projects by: Managing the project’s day-to-day activitiesLeading project meetingsFollowing up with project team members to ensure key milestones are metCoordinating the setup of all training in the LMSDevelop and execute a communication plan; maintain project documentation and records; proactively resolve issues and escalate as appropriate.Manage the project budget, including reviewing invoices to ensure costs are within scope and budget.Participate in the thinking and execution of an evaluation and measurement strategy and manage the implementation of evaluation tools.Organize the work of key team members and stakeholders to produce deliverables on schedule and within budget, in alignment with quality standards.Contribute to strategic goals of the learning team by connecting deliverables to business outcomes, using sound measurement tools and analyses.Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, driving operational efficiency, and ongoing process optimization and adaptability.What You Bring To The RoleAt least 8 years of experience managing national projects in a complex business environment.At least 5 years of exposure to learning projects, with knowledge of learning principles and evaluation of learning outcomes.Demonstrated project management experience on large-scale solutions.Demonstrated experience in learning evaluation and assessment.Experience in consulting and managing challenging SMEs.Demonstrated experience in leading projects involving multiple stakeholders.Adult Education certificate or training in project management and instructional design is a definite asset.2-3 years of experience in evaluation and measurement.Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.Emphasizes and builds the value of service offered to the client.Prides themselves on being knowledgeable and experienced in their field.Uses clear project management principles to prioritize issues.Creative software expertise with awareness of industry tools and techniques.Demonstrated ability to manage projects on-time and on-budget.Knowledge of Success Factors.Proficiency in English at a business level is required.This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will be required to support KPMG employees nationally and communicate with English-speaking colleagues. The individual will be required to create documentation and share guidance to those in English-speaking provinces.Pay Range InformationKPMG Ontario Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $104,000 to $154,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on location, skills, competencies, and unique qualifications.
