Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Patient Advisor(s) to join our team.This is a volunteer position.Patient & family advisors are collaborative advocates and champions of patient and family centered care, working to improve patient relations at RRHS. Working closely with the clinical and corporate teams toward improving the care experience at RRHS, the advisor role brings individual expertise and the patient voice forward, through input into policies and processes which directly affect patient care and experience.QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age.Must be a resident in the catchment area of the hospitals to be considered as a potential candidate.A patient or family member who has had recent experience within the last 3 years, with care provided at either the Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll or Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital site.Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational information.Available for a minimum of 4 hours per month, with a 2-year commitment to the role.For a detailed position description and application, please visit our website or contact volunteer.services@rrhs.caWe thank all applicants for your interest in this volunteer role.
