McAsphalt offers a wide range of asphalt products and specialized transportation, and provides comprehensive services and technology solutions including paving, testing, research, engineering, and consulting.Role PurposeThe HR Business Partner drives business results by enabling people, culture, and organizational effectiveness across assigned regions.Key OutcomesTalent Management – 50%: A stable, capable, and high‑performing workforce aligned to regional strategies.Labour/Employee Relations – 30%: A safe, legally compliant, and productive work environment with minimized risk.Leader Development, Coaching & Capacity Building – 10%: Strong leaders who manage teams effectively.Change Management – 15%: Smooth adoption of organizational changes that support business direction.Corporate Governance – 5%: Full compliance with corporate policies, ethics standards, legislation, and accurate employee records.Key ResponsibilitiesWorkforce Planning: Deliver annual regional workforce plans (1–5 year horizon), maintain updated job profiles, generate recruitment forecast, and develop proactive recruitment strategy.Talent Attraction & Recruitment: Ensure >90% recruitment actions meet timelines, implement competency‑based interview framework, monitor KPIs, and lead interviews to deliver competitive offers.Onboarding: Deliver customized onboarding plans, coordinate mass orientations with compliance.Employee Development: Use performance data to identify gaps, coach leaders through performance and talent calibration, create and track IDPs.Retention & Engagement: Analyze stay/exit data, lead engagement survey action plans, improve turnover metrics.Labour / Employee Relations: Serve as HR resource for policy interpretation, conduct investigations, collaborate with HSE/Legal to ensure compliance, reduce ER incidents.Leader Development: Lead leadership development initiatives, coach operations leaders, improve manager capability scores.Change Management: Anticipate workforce impacts of changes, identify best practices, develop change plans.Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with legislation and corporate policies, maintain accurate employee transactions, present HR Dashboard to regional leadership.Qualifications & ExperienceBilingual French/English; English required for stakeholder interactions.Minimum 8+ years progressive HR experience, preferably in operations‑heavy environments.Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field.Strong coaching, influencing, problem‑solving, and strategic partnering skills.Valid driver’s license; ability to travel up to 30%.Employment InformationSeniority Level: Mid‑SeniorEmployment Type: PermanentIndustry: Materials / Railroad Equipment ManufacturingBenefitsBenefits information not provided. #J-18808-Ljbffr
