Apply technical accounting knowledge as a Junior Assurance Accountant in BDO’s Calgary office, supporting financial statements and client engagements. Work across office, client site, and virtual settings.
Joining BDO’s Assurance team in September 2027, you will complete projects using course knowledge and professional standards. The position includes working papers, notice to reader engagements, evidence gathering, client communication, and ongoing team updates. You will also participate in business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare working papers and financial statements under regulatory standards
- Complete notice to reader engagements accurately
- Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements
- Build client relationships and respond to requests
- Communicate progress and issues with team members
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or diploma completed
- Necessary CPA prerequisites completed
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Proven leadership skills and initiative
- Commitment to outstanding client service and teamwork
