This role is ideal for a CPA with strong assurance and client management experience who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to take the next step in their career with a mid‑sized public accounting firm.As an Assurance Manager, you will lead engagement teams and manage a diverse client portfolio. You will work closely with partners to deliver high‑quality assurance and advisory services while mentoring and developing junior team members.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead and manage assurance engagements, including audit and review engagementsReview financial statements and related disclosures to ensure compliance with ASPE, ASNPO and IFRSOversee and review tax filing requirements and considerations that impact the results of the audit and review engagementsManage multiple client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business needsOversee the work of staff and senior accountants, providing guidance, coaching, and formal performance feedbackEnsure engagement deliverables are completed on time and in accordance with firm and professional standardsParticipate in the development of firm policies and internal processes to improve service delivery and efficiencyLead technical training sessions and contribute to the professional development of team membersCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSCPA designation in good standingMinimum 4 years of experience with a focus on assurance servicesProven leadership experience in managing audit/review teams and engagementsStrong technical knowledge of ASPE and IFRSWorking knowledge of Canadian income tax compliance for corporations and individualsProficiency in assurance and tax software, including CaseWare, Taxprep, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsBENEFITSA supportive and collaborative work culture in a mid‑sized firm settingExposure to a wide range of industries and client engagementsComprehensive benefits and extended health coverageFirm-sponsored social events and team‑building activitiesOngoing professional development and leadership trainingOpportunities for advancement and growth within the firm #J-18808-Ljbffr
