Nursing Instructor IV - Critical Care Nursing ProgramReq ID: 215507Location: Central Zone, Bethune Building - QEIIDepartment: The NS Health Learning Institute for Health Care ProvidersType of Employment: Casual; Hourly FT long-assignment (100%) x 1About the OpportunityReporting to the Manager, The Learning Institute, the Nursing Instructor IV is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating professional development learning experiences for entry level and specialty level programming and assisting the Nurse Educator in curriculum development through the Learning Institute’s Provincial Mandate. This position promotes the advancement of professional nursing practice within the Nova Scotia health care community. The Nursing Instructor IV has the primary responsibility to maintain and deliver educational programming for Registered Nurses, both in classroom and web-based delivery. The Nursing Instructor IV practices according to the Registered Nurses Act, Nova Scotia College of Nursing, and Standards of Practice of Registered Nurses.This position will support Critical Care Nursing Program with a particular focus on blended learning.Please note this position requires periodic travel to facilities within Nova Scotia.
