Design Technician (Landfill) – 12 month term Build the best The City of Kelowna currently has a Design Technician opportunity available with our Technical Services team. With your Civil Engineering Diploma or Degree, related experience, and relevant professional skills you will be responsible for reviewing plans and inspecting municipal infrastructure projects while providing technical assistance to the Landfill and various City departments. The Design Technician plays a pivotal role in advising on design, planning, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position liaises with consultants, and various City departments to ensure seamless communication and project coordination. Qualifications Municipal infrastructure planning and design Solid Waste Design and network software experience related to utility systems e.g. AutoCAD and GIS Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Help create Kelowna as a City of the Future.
