We strive for a respectful and inclusive work environment and seek individuals who provide the highest level of customer service with professionalism.We have an opening for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join our Personal Insurance team working from our Falher, AB branch on a Permanent Full Time basis.We offer opportunities to grow within a collaborative environment across over 200 offices nationwide and flexible work arrangements where possible.What the Role EntailsService ongoing client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessments, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewalsSell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of businessContact underwriters and adjusters to discuss guidelines and policyPrepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewalsKeep current on underwriting rules and workflow processesActively participate in training initiativesParticipate in community marketing initiativesThe Successful Candidate Will HaveEquivalent skills or experience within insurance or salesHigh school and/or post-secondary educationMinimum of 2 years sales experience (insurance sales experience preferred but not required)Level 1 General license or willingness to obtainExposure to Epic is an assetStrong customer focusDemonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfullyStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to pass a criminal background check and credit checkPerks and BenefitsFlexible health and dental insurance benefits packagePersonal Spending amount to invest in a healthy lifestyleRRSP with company matchingEmployee Share Purchase Plan (TSX:IFC) with matchingDress for your dayCompetitive compensation package with bonus potentialEmployee discount program (including Apple, Bell, Rogers and more)Paid time off including personal days, volunteer days, exam/study time, jury duty; starting at 3 weeks of vacation per yearRecognition as a best employer in Canada (e.g., Kincentric 2024)OtherBrokerLink is committed to providing an accessible environment.
