Are you an experienced electrician with a passion for construction? Join our team as we embark on an exciting new project at Queens University. This commercial endeavor promises to be a bustling hub for businesses once completed. As a licensed electrician, your expertise in bending metal conduit and ensuring seamless electrical connectivity will be crucial.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  1. Licensed / Apprentice / Red Seal Electrician: From 1st-year apprentices to fully ticketed electricians (309).
  2. Commercial and Institutional Experience: At least 2 years of experience preferred but flexibility considered.
  3. Valid G Driver’s License: Must have reliable transportation.
  4. Conduit Bending Skills: Ability to work with various pipe materials.
  5. OCOT Registered: Ontario College of Trades registration in good standing.
  6. Safety Training: Level 1 Working at Heights, WHMIS 2015, Health & Safety Awareness (4 steps).
  7. Preferred Certifications: AEC / DEP or Skilled Trades Certificate.
  8. Safety Gear: Steel-toed boots, high-visibility vest, safety glasses, hard hat, and gloves.
Work Environment

Project Type: New build ICI (Institutional, Commercial, Industrial).
Team Size: Approximately 40 workers on-site.
Shifts: 6 am - 6 pm day shift (off on Fridays).
Fast-Paced: Expect a dynamic work environment with opportunities for overtime.
Impact: Successful completion of this project is critical due to major financial penalties.
