OverviewJoin to apply for the Sr. Software Engineer, Infra role at Jerry.We’re seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to take complete ownership of our infrastructure. This is a hands-on role focused on automation, scalability, and reliability across our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will design and implement solutions that enable engineering teams to move faster and deliver high-quality products to our customers. Jerry.ai is building the AI-powered AllCar™ super app to simplify car ownership. We are growing rapidly and scaling our platform to reach more users while maintaining security, reliability, and performance.What You’ll DoTake full ownership of Jerry’s infrastructure, including managing cloud accounts end to end, ensuring robustness and securityDevelop systems and components to improve operational simplicity and reliability (monitoring, deployment automation, diagnostic tools, etc.)Develop systems and tools for security access management and capacity planning of cloud resourcesCollaborate with product teams to guide systems architecture and optimize production systemsCoordinate Jerry’s production incident handling across teamsWhat We’re Looking ForExperience building infrastructure for a scaling companyB.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline5+ years of experience with Amazon AWS services and tools (ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, ElasticCache, ELB, ECR, CDK, etc.)Deep experience with Kubernetes; familiarity with TerraformAttention to detail to ensure systems are always upStrong coding skills in Python or Golang; familiarity with NodeJS and Typescript; strong system analysis and problem-solving skillsExcellent teammate with strong communication, collaboration, and technical writing skillsMotivated and able to thrive in dynamic environments with a focus on scalable and highly available cloud systemsOur StackFrontend & backend: TypeScript, Nest.js, Next.js, React, React Native, ExpoAPI: GraphQLData: Postgres, DynamoDB, Clickhouse, RedisInfrastructure: AWS, microservices, containerized services on ECS/EKS, asynchronous processing on LambdaWhy Jerry?This isn’t just another coding job — you’ll be solving real-world problems at scale, helping millions of people manage a valuable asset more effortlessly.
