It supports the home’s IPAC program, oversees admission processes, coordinates RAI MDS processes, monitors staff data accuracy, and provides leadership to staff teams to implement best practice approaches to resident care. Employment Guide Strong candidates will be Registered Practical Nurse and registered in good standing with the College of Nurses Ontario; a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Long‑Term Care or Acute Care sector is preferred. Leadership/supervisory experience is a key requirement. Experience in quality improvement and adult education is beneficial. Knowledge of epidemiological principles, statistics and microbiology and the ability to integrate this knowledge into clinical practice would be a significant asset. Must demonstrate effective leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to educate and support employees. Flexibility to work or support all three shifts and participate in the on‑call leader rotation. Member of National Infection Control Association (IPAC Canada) is beneficial. Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
