Under the direction of more experienced technicians or technical/engineering staff, the employee performs a variety of tasks related to established methods and processes, and works from written instructions or general directions on equipment and systems of moderate complexity.ResponsibilitiesAssemble or modify test models and experimental setups from specific instructions or under the supervision of senior technical personnel.Perform a variety of tasks including installation, repair, testing and maintenance of equipment, subsystems and systems.Participate in testing under the supervision of senior technical personnel.Record results of tests or experiments.Read and interpret technical drawingsAssist higher level personnel with other tasks.Perform periodic maintenance on equipment.Participate in the preparation of time and cost estimatesResearch and recommend parts or components for special tests and test fixtures.Participate in the programming and start-up of automated equipment sequences using the software provided.Perform work in accordance with internal procedures and in compliance with our health and safety rules.Perform other related tasks.QualificationsCollege diploma or equivalent diploma in mechanical, aeronautical engineering or related field based on assignment.A combination of other experiences/education that is relevant can be considered.2 to 3 years of relevant experience.Fluency in spoken and written French.
