Join to apply for the Plant Superintendent role at AmrizeGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.ObjectiveTo supervise the safe and efficient operation of a concrete batch plant including concrete mixer drivers and plant maintenance to ensure delivery of quality product, timely delivery and customer satisfaction.ScopeVolume: 15,000 - 20,000 m3Staff: 4 employeesCustomers: 100+ of varying sizes and sophisticationTools: Command Concrete Dispatch software and Concrete Direct GPS systemResponsibilitiesBatching: In a fast paced, customer oriented environment, responsible for scheduling concrete deliveries, providing pricing to customers, ordering raw material as required for production and ensuring accurate batching to produce a quality product to meet the customers' requirements.Health and Safety: Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies.HR/Coaching & Mentoring: Supervise drivers and maintain a positive work environmentEnvironment: Demonstrate a commitment to meet/exceed environmental compliance.Reporting: Submit reports on time to area administer. Keep accurate records.Customer Service: Communicate with customers, the Plant Manager and Sales Representative to ensure a positive customer experience and identify sales opportunities.Transportation & Logistics: Creates efficient scheduling for routine maintenance, schedule jobs to ensure best use of fleet, effectively utilize maintenance programs to maximize plant up-time and manage costs.Administration: Manage inventory of materials and products, physical inventory counts, order materials, ensure payroll is accurate.Operations Analysis and Action Tracking: Track performance, establish effective action plans and continuously improve the operations.
