Acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior stakeholders, you partner closely with leaders to understand business priorities, anticipate future talent needs, and deliver hiring strategies that support our continued growth. You’re proactive, resourceful, and comfortable thinking outside of the box. Although you’re comfortable working as an individual contributor, you like the idea of working as part of a highly collaborative team.Your responsibilities:Manage high‑volume full cycle recruitment from sourcing through offer and onboarding, ensuring a high‑quality candidate experienceDrives strategic HR initiatives including research, recommendations, and implementation of programs and policiesActs as strategic advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights, talent mapping, and guidance on hiring strategies aligned with organizational growthBuilds talent pipelines using data‑driven approaches, sourcing tools, and proactive workforce planningChampions recruitment best practices, interview training, and employer branding to strengthen position as employer of choiceEstablishes effective sourcing methods through networking, professional associations, headhunting, and referralsMaintains accurate ATS records and ensures compliance with all hiring policies and practices throughout recruitment processConducts candidate application reviews, screening, interviews, and reference checks while managing external agency relationshipsServes as escalation point for recruitment issues and provides guidance and support to fellow team membersRepresents company professionally at recruitment events, career fairs, and networking opportunitiesCompiles recruitment metrics and status reports to track effectiveness and informed decision‑makingAbout you:5+ years of direct sourcing experience, preferably in high‑tech software/SaaS industryStrong stakeholder management skills with ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior leaders through data‑driven insights and market knowledgeStrategic, consultative mindset capable of advising on talent availability and effective interview and selection strategiesKnowledge of relevant employment regulations, including employment standards and human rights legislationExperience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ideally Greenhouse) and advanced proficiency with MS Office SuiteExceptional communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal) with strong business acumen and attention to detailSolid project management experience with ability to manage moving timelines and changing prioritiesStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent organizational abilities to prioritize and multi‑taskSelf‑starter comfortable working independently and collaboratively in fast‑paced environmentsCompensation:Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbia’s pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background.The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values.
