We are seeking passionate, detail-focused individuals to join our team as an Assistant Miller.ResponsibilitiesOperate the A and B Mill, adjust equipment, and conduct product testing to maximize yield and quality.Manage kiln production, groat and steel cut grading, secondary grading systems, and operate colour sorters.Maintain documentation of production data in computerized systems.Support sanitation, safety, planning, and cross-department communication for smooth operations.Perform maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment issues.Follow gluten-free product handling guidelines and ensure compliance with food safety practices.Monitor kiln as a food safety preventative control measure.Document production data and ensure accurate record-keeping.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (required).Milling or processing experience is an asset.Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain equipment.Familiarity with Gluten-Free compliance preferred.Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.Able to work safely in dusty, hot/cold, noisy environments and at heights or in confined spaces.Hours of Work12-hour modified shift schedule, including weekends and nights.Compensation and BenefitsQuarterly bonusNight and weekend premiumsCompany-matched RRSPOvertime payComprehensive health and dental benefitsApply by September 23, 2025.
