Responsibilities Prepare and process all outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Responsible for picking and assembling orders, preparing orders for shipment, and loading and unloading trucks Responsible for receiving shipments by signing for incoming shipments, inspecting products, and ensuring proper and accurate paperwork is maintained Receive and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage Verify shipment contents against packing lists and purchase orders Receive, unload, sort orders and inter-company transfers accurately and in a timely manner Marking incoming parts and stocking them in the stockroom Perform a daily update as needed, as well as an annual intake of inventory Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Report any issues or discrepancies to the Parts/Warehouse Manager promptly Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers or vendors Supportively work alongside all department colleagues Accountable for maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient storage area Must adhere to Metro Trucks code of conduct and Health & Safety procedures All other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous Shipping and Receiving / Warehouse experience preferred Exceptional attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Position requires: standing, lifting, walking, bending, and occasional ladder use Ability to follow instructions, and work both independently and as a team Successful candidates will be big picture thinkers, honest and professional Job Type: Full-time Schedule 8 hour shift Experience Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
